- You're not thinking are you? The 68EC030 costs next to nothing. This
- means that people can buy the machine for a hopefully low price, and
- then upgrade the CPU to suit their requirements to a 68040, 68060, PPC
- 603 or PPC 604. Now, have you any idea how much a 68060 costs? What
- would be the point on putting an expensive CPU in the machine when
- it's going to be effectivley thrown away in a few months? Personally,
- I'd rather have a $20 CPU being written off than a $200 CPU.
